Triple award for public transport apps from Hacon
Three apps developed by Hacon make it to the ÖGVS App Award 2024 among the top 5 public transport apps.
Hanover, February 15, 2024. Smartphones have long since become an indispensable part of our lives. We use many different apps every day apps that are designed to make our lives easier. The "ÖGVS - Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien" has therefore investigated in a study in Austria which apps really benefit users' lives.
In the online panel survey, participants were asked about their experiences with various apps. The evaluation only included the opinions of people who had actively used the respective apps in the last 2 years. On the basis of more than 73,000 customer opinions on a total of 583 apps from 62 categories, an Austria-wide ranking was created. Apps for which more than 100 ratings were submitted were taken into account.
In the "Public Transport" category, three apps developed by Hacon made it into the top 5. The mobile route planner of the Austrian Federal Railways, ÖBB Scotty, came in second place, Salzburg Verkehr, the mobile transport information service of the Salzburg Verkehrsverbund, came in fourth, closely followed by the VOR AnachB route planning app from Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region. The ticket solution from eos.uptrade is also integrated into both of these apps.
