TPS at a glance
TPS combines infrastructure, timetable and train path management as well as all interaction. During all types of planning the whole network and local planning priorities are taken into consideration. TPS, as a standard software, was developed as an adaptable system that allows the integration of any client-specific functions. It can be integrated as module into an already existing environment.
TPS-clients also profit from multi-user operation, which is a central element of the TPS architecture. As a result, trains can be processed by different users at the same time. Rights, roles, groups and users are defined precisely.
TPS eliminates the need for restrictions in timetable periods. Continuous, ongoing planning makes long-term and short-term planning possible in just one closed database – the permanent capacity plan. TPS supports clients in planning capacities according to the legal regulations for discrimination-free train path access.
The program is as far as possible independent of third-party software. This means that the rights of third parties, which would entail additional licensing fees, for example, will not be an issue. The only exception: regarding the database, HaCon relies on the uncompromising technology of Oracle©.
